Agricultural Spraying Helicopter
An automated spraying UAV — designed, built, and flight-tested as an undergrad at Shanghai Jiao Tong University
An automated agricultural spraying helicopter that I designed, built, and flight-tested around 2012–2013. The platform carried a liquid-spray tank and a multi-nozzle spray boom, with automated waypoint-flight capability for low-altitude agricultural applications.
This was the first large UAV platform I built — developed during my undergraduate studies at Shanghai Jiao Tong University as part of the SJTU Participation in Research Program (PRP). The aircraft was assembled and tested on the same campus lawn that shows up in the Winter Light at SJTU Lawn flight.
